Derek Dube

Every so often, something clicks into place that makes you think, “This is exactly what we needed.”

I’m Keith Klein, owner of OnYourMark.com LLC, and one of the organizers of Wisconsin Business Owners.

Today I’m excited to share two announcements that go hand in hand — and that I think are going to make a real difference in the quality of what we offer our members and guests going forward.

Derek Dube Joins Our Organizing Team

First, the big news: Derek Dube is now a Co-Organizer of Wisconsin Business Owners.

Derek has been a member of our group in great standing for a long time, and those of you who know him already understand why this is such a natural fit.  He’s the kind of person who doesn’t just show up — he contributes, he connects people, and he genuinely cares about the success of the people around him.  That’s exactly the kind of energy our organizing team runs on, and we’re glad to have him on board.

For those who haven’t met Derek yet, here’s what you should know.

Derek is the owner of The Celebration Center of Wisconsin in Brookfield and the heart behind everything that Photo of Attendees at a Business Event at The Celebration Center of Wisconsinhappens there.  He’s been creating personalized, memorable events for more than 25 years.  He’s officiated over 300 weddings and earned more than 200 five-star reviews — a track record that speaks to his professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to make people feel genuinely welcomed and cared for.

But what makes Derek such a valuable addition to our organizing team isn’t just his event expertise.  It’s his commitment to this community.  He’s been in the room with us, building relationships with fellow business owners, long before “Co-Organizer” was part of his title.  The title just makes official what’s been true for a while: Derek is invested in helping Wisconsin business owners succeed.

He joins a dedicated team of organizers who volunteer their time and energy to keep Wisconsin Business Owners running strong.  We’re grateful for every one of them, and Derek fits right in.

The Celebration Center: Our New Home for Lunch & Learns

Second announcement: The Celebration Center of Wisconsin is now the home of our Lunch & Learn series.

Located at 13780 W. Greenfield Ave. in Brookfield — convenient to reach via I-94 and via I-894 — The Celebration Center offers everything we’ve been looking for in an event space for business gatherings.  The venue comfortably seats 40 at dining tables and is equipped with audiovisual equipment, flexible room layouts, and a warm, professional atmosphere that’s a step above the typical meeting room.

Derek has gone above and beyond to make this space work for our group.  He personally recommended a local, family-owned caterer for our Lunch & Learn meals, and he’s hands-on in making sure every detail is dialed in for a business audience.  This isn’t a wedding venue that happens to host meetings.  This is a versatile, well-run event space managed by someone who now has a personal stake in making every Wisconsin Business Owners event a great experience.

The Celebration Center’s Brookfield location makes it easily accessible for business owners throughout the greater Milwaukee area, Waukesha County, and beyond. If you’ve ever skipped an event because the location wasn’t convenient, this one’s worth the drive.

Our First Lunch & Learn at The Celebration Center

We’re putting it all together on Friday, March 27, 2026, with our first Lunch & Learn at the new venue.                Photo of Attendees at a Business Event at The Celebration Center of Wisconsin

I’ll be presenting “AI: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly, and The Best” — a talk I’ve spent months preparing that covers what every Wisconsin business owner needs to know about artificial intelligence right now.  The good (the greatest opportunity for small business owners ever), the bad (job displacement and what AI is doing to kids), the ugly (documented incidents that will change how you think about these tools), and the best (how to actually put AI to work in your business today).

No hype.  No hallucinations.  Sourced, documented, and designed for business owners who want the real picture.

Here are the details:
