Every business needs access to capital – it’s a given. Knowing where to look will save time and money. Knowing how to prepare for your requests is even more important – working with a capital adviser is critical.
Part of every business plan must be an understanding of how much capital and where it should be sourced is critical. There are multiple layers of capital available, and truthfully, there is more than ever out there. Then why is it so hard to attain? Learning the real needs of lenders and funders is important in designing your proposal to get funding. Creating a request that meets the needs of both borrower and lender will get funded.

Meet Our Expert: Greg Adlington
In my first career I was a banker for the largest bank in Canada. I left the Royal Bank to get into the golf business in 1985 and spent 19 years in the industry, most recently as the Director of Golf at a Milwaukee Country Club. In 2004 I returned to my money roots as a residential mortgage lender. Then in 2010 made the decision to start my own firm as a pure commercial lender. I am still an avid golfer, enjoy woodworking, and enjoy reading north American history. I live in Menomonee Falls with my wife Jackie, and have three grown children.
