Meet our Expert: Ron Chandler
“Investing with a Purpose” Presenter Ron Chandler
Wisconsin Business Owners sponsor Ron Chandler is an owner and officer with Summit Investment Management, Ltd., a fee-based investment management company located in Milwaukee.
Before acquiring a portion of Summit in 2012, Ron had worked as an options instructor for Optionetics Inc., as well as Managing Partner for Chandler-Wiles Group, LLC, a management consulting firm and Big Dog, LLC., a private investment firm.
Ron has executive experience across a wide variety of industries (automotive, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, service, food retail, and financial) and disciplines (sales, engineering, program management, product development, and operations).
After selling his manufacturing business in 1994, Ron established himself as a turnaround consultant working with troubled companies.
Ron holds a Series 65 Securities Licenses as well as State insurance licenses in Life and Health in the state of Wisconsin. He is also certified as a Lean Manufacturing Expert and a Six Sigma Black Belt by the University of Michigan-College of Engineering and has co-authored a book on those subjects.
He has been a featured speaker at investment conferences across the country and volunteers his time teaching financial literacy to school age children and young adults. He also shares his life lessons on his Blog, Foundational Living.
